New Research Tool

I just discovered a new research tool that is really cool. From Google’s website:

“Google Squared is a search tool that helps you quickly build a collection of facts from the Web, for any topic you specify.”

That description is actually a bit misleading since that sounds pretty much like the Google search engine we all know so well. However, what this new tool offers is not a list of websites in the results, but a collection of facts and data pulled directly into the results page with reference links for additional info.

You really have to try it to appreciate the convenience and potential for this new tool. All I can say is, I’m adding it to my own arsenal of research tools and if you do any kind of research on the web you might consider giving it a try.
