Found this abandoned train depot while I was driving through the backstreets of Boulder City, NV one day. It was near an old railroad museum so I got the phone number to find out if someone would let me into the area for a photo shoot.
Two days later, after a few talks with the Museum Director, I was at the site and exploring all the amazing train cars, steam engines and railroad parts that were distributed about, inside the area. I thought it would be a good idea to bring along a ladder to get some high angled shots and it turned out to be a smart idea. Though carrying that ladder all around the yard was not fun.
The whole shoot took about 3 hours and it was pretty hot that day, so by the end of it, my crew and I were spent.
Here’s the best shots from that day.
