Desert Radio Tower
This Radio Tower sits atop a mountain in the desert. I shot these photos around 0500 which at that time required some long exposure techniques and resulted in some of the photos having a bit of blur due to some wind at the top of the mountain. Wind is the enemy of long exposure photography, but I’m still pretty happy with the final results.
I absolutely enjoy the austere landscape I encounter in my desert excursions, and documenting them in my photography. This place was quite unique, because it’s a very large structure at the top of a mountain, in the middle of a desert landscape. It is near a town, but the engineering and construction of this facility must have been a monumental undertaking.
