MILITARY PHOTOGRAPHY BATTLEFIELD VEGAS
BATTLEFIELD VEGAS is part of my MILITARY PHOTOGRAPHY series which includes images of aircraft, armored vehicles, helicopters, artillery, equipment and more. I’ve collected many of these images at museums, on bases and at public exhibits held by US Military branches, including USAF and US ARMY.
Las Vegas, NV is an incredible place, with many fascinating attractions. Some are free, while others require a fee, but as soon as I found out about the military museum, I decided to go check it out the next day. Turns out it’s free, because it’s in the parking lot of an indoor shooting range.
Living only 20 minutes from the city, I packed up my gear then headed downtown. Arriving on-site at around 1400 (2:00 PM) it was already blistering hot when I got there, but the place was like Disneyland for a Military enthusiast and historian like myself. And I had the whole afternoon free.
Camera in hand I started exploring the collection of armored transports, artillery vehicles, helicopters and tanks, while shooting photos and examining every inch of the premises.
